Led Bulbs use up to 90% less power than the old technology to illuminate the same. This means you can save up to 90% of your electrical power bills.
Led Bulbs last up to 25 times more than the traditional lighting, so you do not need to change them every while and you do not have to go out to buy more every time.
Because they consume less the CO2 emissions for your lighting will be up to 90% less with GU10 LED. Same thing for the radioactive disposals needed for the electrical power generation. Also because the last up to 25 times more, there will be less bulbs dropped to the garvaje every year. Led Lamps are very easily to recycle and have not harmful components, that is something that the planet will thank you.
Some traditional lightning as the halogen bulbs have harder light that heats your rooms, they are too strong to your eyes when you look at them directly, and the bean angles are so narrow that your rooms gets lighted by parts, bringing too many shadows. LED Lamps, specially MR16 LED when usign 120 degrees bean angles, gives the most homogeneous lighting, dropping the same light power to all corners of your place. Also there are no infrared emissions with the led bulbs. Even because they do not get much warm, they decrease the risk of fire and injury when being touched. As they do not heat much you can even safe on air conditioning expenses.

This is an example for changing a 35W halogen bulb by 3W LED bulb.
Broadly speaking we say that for every hour we have on average a light bulb on every day, we save about £2.5 per year.
That is, if we have 1 bulb in the room that is turned on an average of 4 hours a day will save about £10 € per year, therefore:
10 lamps in living room and hallway we will save £100 per year, £500 in 5 years .... £1000 in 10 years ... £2000 in 20 years ... as easy as that.
And it is not only the savings, we are being nice with the planet, and we can have as much light as we want at home, because the power comsumtion is so little.
If we take the case of a SHOP that has halogen bulbs burning 12 hours a day, we are saving more than £30 a year per bulb. So, if this shop has 30 bulbs replaced the savings will be as much as £900 the first year, ... £4000 in 5 years ...
In the 11.5-year life, the 30 LED bulbs of the shop will save about £10,000 €
But also we are not expending on changing broken bulbs, and we spent less on air conditioning as led bulbs do not heat.
Less power consumption means less CO2 emissions and less radioactive waste.
Following a top european power company we are emiting 0.4 KG of CO2 per kWh consumed. In the case of radioactive waste we put at 0.54 micrograms per KWh.
This means that in the above example we have avoided the emission of 18 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere and the creation of 25,000 micrograms of radioactive waste.

E27 is the typical 220 Volts.
The E14 are the candle type bulbs also 220V.
The MR16 is a typical 12-volt halogen (installation usually takes a small transformer).
GU10 are the 220V halogen bulbs.
